Production Technology sits on the boundaries of development, wells, and production functions – representing production’s interests to the other disciplines. What’s the role?
The PT Design & Well Integrity Team Lead reports to the Subsurface WRFM Manager and is accountable for the following:
Develop & update: plans & strategies to improve well design, execution, start-up and operation, well functional specification & BoD, well abandonment strategy & design Well Integrity Management System.
Ensure compliance with regulatory Well requirements through Design, Execute, Operate and Abandon.
Accountable for the subsurface related Wells risk identification, assessment, and management, and for the quality of design and maintenance solutions for Well Initial Completions and subsequent workover interventions.
Responsible for the Well Integrity process and standards; responsible for resourcing of the well integrity management system application.
Ensuring that the tasks outlined in the Well Integrity Management System are carried out and that the Well Integrity risk is maintained as ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) throughout the life of the well.
Measure the performance of the Well Integrity Management System using the asset integrity KPI’s and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annular Well Integrity reports.
Ensure that a “lessons learnt” culture is present and that all potential improvements are carried into future phases.
What we need from you
The PT Design & Well Integrity Team Lead should be a natural leader who knows how and when to push the right things. We are keen to speak to professionals with the following:
Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline – (petroleum or mechanical preferred) or equivalent qualification/experience
Queensland license, Technical Authority for Production Technology level 2 (TA2) or readiness within initial/early months on the job
Industry experience in CSG or conventional Drilling and/or Completion operations
Good understanding of Technical Safety and AIPSM (Asset Integrity, Process Safety Management)
Experience in Well Integrity Management using eWIMS & Incident reporting system
Understanding or Application/Execution of Shell DEPs, Well Delivery Process, WRFM & Well Abandonment Process
Lifecycle Well Design Concepts and knowledge of Well testing and Hydraulic fracturing a plus
Experience of creating and implementing technical management systems; experience with safety management systems
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
